Oldham
Oldham is a town in Greater Manchester, England, located approximately 7 miles northeast of the city of Manchester. It is situated in the foothills of the Pennines, and has a population of around 230,000 people. Historically, Oldham was an important centre for textile production during the Industrial Revolution, and was known for its cotton mills and coal mines. Today, Oldham is a diverse town with a rich cultural heritage, and is home to a large South Asian community. The town has a number of attractions, including the Oldham Coliseum Theatre, the Oldham Art Gallery, and the Oldham Athletic Football Club.
