About
Jo-an-da-lee is an established family run business. Our name is unique and was inspired by my husband's mother. It was extremely important to Joan that the whole family was involved in the running of the business, as this sets the tone and quality of service we provide. With your whole family sharing the responsibilities, it makes for a successful, well run, friendly and personal business.
Jo an Mum and Wig Specialist
Being a hairpiece wearer herself, Joan has first hand knowledge of how they can boost a person's confidence. Joan has the knowledge, sincerity and expertise to offer a discreet and personal service.
An gela Daughter and Assistant
Angela has shared all the knowledge and expertise with her mum. She assists Joan with consultations, fittings and is also involved in the administration side of the business.
Da vid Dad and General Manager
David is a great support to Joan. Not only being her husband, but helping with the day to day activities of the business. He is working on developing the male side of the business proving it just as acceptable for men to wear wigs and hairpieces. He is also brilliant on the mobile services side (taxi!!) transporting Joan to any home visits required!
Lee Son and Administration
Lee is involved in the IT side of the business. Offering support on the website design and ensuring it is constantly up to date.
We decided to set up Jo-an-da-lee, as we found it difficult to find a local business, offering both good quality products and a personal service. We started our business offering hair parties, attending bridal fayres and local stalls. We found that we had a growing number of clients with alopecia and cancer who were contacting us for help, so decided to open our Salon in Wigan. We feel we offer an invaluable service to people who cannot or who are too poorly to travel.
We have the knowledge, sincerity and expertise to help people and our family's inspiration is to make people happy and help give them a major part of their lives back. Our moto is ............ "Whatever It Takes".
